Winning the mind battle

R

Remember that all the battles are won or lost in the mind, therefore, in order to succeed you need to take control of your thoughts. Your thoughts determine who you are, where you go, what you acquire and what you accomplish. What you achieve or fail to achieve is the direct result of your thoughts. Give yourself credit for the small victories you have achieved in your life to this day, however large or small. This will show you the resilience and strength that you have, based on how far you have come.
During each day our minds are bombarded with a continual stream of suspicions, harrowing thoughts, doubts and fears. While any one of these can cause us to feel defeated and devastated, we are often plagued by more than one thought, filling our daily lives with mental exhaustion.
Unless we renew our mind, we risk continuing to believe those lies and making important decisions based on the deception of the enemy (the devil). The key is to start by analysing your potential and learning to think more positively in order to build self-confidence and neutralize self-sabotage. Have a contingency plan because if you’re afraid of failing at something, having a “Plan B” in place can help you feel more confident about moving forward.
Set small achievable goals, visualise them, make a plan and stick with the plan. Take your project or business seriously and set time aside each day to invest time in it. Learn how to explore and evaluate all possible outcomes rationally and develop contingency plans. Practice thinking positively, by moving forward slowly but steadily, you’ll begin to overcome your fear and gain confidence.
Remember with God all things are possible, you and I were created to serve and make a positive difference in this world.
