When you are seeking to bring big plans to fruition, associate yourself with like minded people and those who see greatness in you. Remember that if you have a personal relationship with God, you have a calling on your life.
The following are a few steps you can start meditating on
1-Be your Authentic self
Don’t try to seek approval from others because you will end up invalidating your own self and sacrificing your uniqueness and potential. Your authentic self is who you are when you have no fear of being judged by those around you. It starts when you remove the social mask to please everyone while losing your true identity. Remember you are an original, fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image and you have what it takes to be that which places on your heart.
2- Believe in yourself
Believe in yourself and ignore those who try to discourage you. Be in control of your destiny and always remember that God created you as an original. There is no one on this planet like you and you need to know that he has a purpose and a plan for your life. Do not conform to the world’s expectation. Instead, you must boldly walk in Christ’s fullness for in individual plan and purpose. “For God did not give us the spirit of timidity, but of power, love and discipline” 2 Timothy 1:7
3-Avoid negative connections
Avoid negative people, habits, thoughts and places because these will suck your energy and drain the joy out of you. Negative thoughts, destructive habits and toxic relationships can burden your soul and cause you to self-doubt, have low self-confidence and lead you to abort your purpose. They will also consume your mind and end up controlling your life causing you to go through life feeling weighed down. This will keep you stagnated and derail you from fulfilling you goals. Always remember that, “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you” Philippians 4:13.
4-Find time to meditate and enrich your spirit with the Word of God
There are times when you may have to walk alone to find your true self. Learn to find time each day to feed your spirit. Find a tranquil place to meditate daily on the word of God for inspiration because the word of God is life and refreshing. See yourself as God sees you and do not be defined by the spoken words of man or negative attitudes of those around you.
Meditation is time spent listening to God and the inner voice, it like giving a hug to ourselves and getting a deep sense of intimacy with God. This will help you find inner peace, help your focus and to stop you being carried away by your regrets about the past or present anger, despair or worries about the future. Meditation helps to develop your capacity to respond gracefully to challenges you may face on your Journey. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is God breathed and useful for teaching and correction”.
5- Do not be discouraged
And finally, if you come against criticism at any point, whether it’s valid or not, take it as a gift to help you to develop a thicker skin. It can help us to get closer to your dreams. God sometimes uses hurts to prepare us for a greater tomorrow. Be kind always, try to do good and focus on your goal because you are destined to reign. “This you know beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger” James 1:19
